JOBS IN 2019-(TIPS)
What are employers looking for?
Unless the job advert specifically calls for fresh graduates and or interns, 98% of employers are looking for people with hands on experience. It is therefore important to make sure you are sending out your papers if you possess more than 2 years of work experience in the same position.
Nowadays, it is easy to land yourself a well-paying job if you are shifting from one organization to another. Why? Employers argue out that candidates who come straight from home are reluctant, not serious with work and also a threat when it comes to skills possession. Consistency is key for any company’s growth.
It is also important to make sure that your CV does not bring out the picture that you are incompetent (the kind of person who hops from one job to another, one profession to the other and or one company to another). You will be duped incompetent
Finally, an aspect that comes up on most papers is that most candidates want to show how hard-working they are; by showing that they were self-employed. RISK! Most employers get the perception that you quit your previous job because you lacked an attribute to be directed. They therefore perceive you as someone who cannot work in an office set-up.
